SHANDON - MINI BIO (ENGLISH)
Formed in 1994 by frontman Olly Riva, SHANDON are one of the most popular ska punk bands from the Italian alternative music scene.
Their music draws inspiration from Californian punk rock from the 90’s and the classic 2 tone ska from the 80’s, but also many other kinds of style like funk, reggae, street punk, heavy rock, latin etc etc.. that's why their logo is a question mark. Since 1994 they have made 8 studio albums, many EP's and singles, and support many popular bands like Green Day, Offspring, Rancid, NO FX, Bad Religion, Less Than Jake, Lagwagon, Skatalites and many others. In 2024 they celebrate 30 years on the road with a new tour and a new re-recorded best of album with 20 national and international guests like, Dr Ring Ding (Germany), Desorden publico (Venezuela), Skapital Sound (Mexico), Oreskaband (Japan), Sick Tamburo (Italy) etc etc.. The first single of this new album is a brand new tune called RUN POLICE RUN featuring Joxemi from SKA-P.
